The hotel Esplanade is an excellent hotel. We received a warm welcome and the service throughout our 3 night stay was friendly and efficient. The hotel is built and decorated in a grand style, maintained to a high level and very clean. Our double room was spacious, well furnished and the bathroom was modern and with good quality fittings. Food in the restaurant is of a good standard and very good value for money. Location is extremely convenient for the state opera house (approximately 200 yards away)and also close to Wenceslas Square. All round we were very pleased with this hotel and would recomment it to anyone looking for a mid-priced well located hotel with some character. Paul & Sue Baranek, Nottingham
